It has been challenging to find healthcare solutions with the government. A complex web of bureaucracy often stands between frontline workers and policymakers, delaying action and increasing costs.

Nurses have been leaving hospitals due to toxic environments in recent years. The NDP may have had opportunities to develop solutions to address this issue during that time. Under the NDP leadership, many BC nurses also moved to the US to work for private companies.
