I watched this movie, The Letter. Absolutely brilliant. Brilliant! Sensitive, colorful, engaging... And the women of the story are just... Amazing. Very well done.

My favorite scene was the scene where ther were people praying to the same God but on different sides. It was brilliant. Like the battle of the gods of Elijah. I was amused. The Letter-#WatunzeWazee should be a caution against (city) people using the bible to assert power. #NBOFilmFest

The Letter is a metaphor or how we use spirituality to assert power but also confidence in our humanity. Those were the tensions at play, and a 95-year old woman and her daughters stood up for the latter. With a quiet brilliance. And a young man was the key witness. #NBOFilmFest

The Letter is a beautiful African story the way we like it: tensions around power and authenticity, and layers of generations. Set in the different Kenyan spaces with all the competing loyalties. I loved it. #NBOFilmFest
