On occasion of Closing d Festive&Schools holidays, on Friday 3⃣rd Jan 2025 Rwanda Taekwondo Federation conducted #geup promotion test for 38 practitioners of KIZIBA TAEKWONDO ACADEMY in KIZIBA REFUGEE CAMP in Karongi District (1/2) #Taekwondo World Taekwondo Ministry of Sports|Rwanda Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee

Among te 38 contestants, 6 are promoted to Yellow+White Belt, 19 to Yellow Belt, 5 to Green Belt while 1 failed, 5 to Blue Belt & 2 to Red Belt. So far, in Kiziba Taekwondo Academy there are 28 Female and 86 Male Athletes. In total, Kiziba Taekwondo Academy is made of 114 (2/2)

Last weekend, refugees from Kiziba camp showcased their Taekwondo skills alongside Rwandan peers during a black belt promotion test Through the sport, refugees not only have fun but also find protection, healing&hope Thank you to Rwanda Taekwondo Federation for embracing refugee inclusion
