Two former Texas AirHogs will be on the #Braves' 2020 Opening Day roster: RHP Chris Martin ('10) and LHP Tyler Matzek ('18-'19).
Tyler Matzek is an awesome Opening Day story. Out of the League since ‘15, Matzek made a stop in indy ball w/ Texas AirHogs before earning a spot on the #Braves active roster.

Tyler Matzek in his first four MLB appearances since 2015: 5.1 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 9 K, 0 BB (!!) In 2018, Matzek walked 66 in 88.2 American Association innings, but worked his way back to a ML org following an improved 2019 w/ Texas AirHogs. Awesome story going on in Atlanta. #Braves
Congrats to former Texas AirHogs RHP Brett Eibner (2019), who was called up to the Miami Marlins. Eibner made his MLB pitching debut last night. He is the 33rd American Association alum to reach MLB, and is 1 of 4 former AirHogs currently in the big leagues (C. Martin, T. Matzek, J. Paxton)
