Little Willow admitted herself this morning, walking right up to the rescue gate. She is very dehydrated and weak, she is now tucked up in one of our TLC Rescue-Me incubators following some fluids. We will continue to give subcutaneous fluids throughout the day 🥺🦔🐾

I collected 287g Bea on my way home from orchestra last night. I didn't think she could wait until morning & I was right. Stone cold & wobbly, so in my little TLC Rescue-Me for an hour to warm. Has lungworm, fluke & roundworm. Gentle treatment to start until she's stronger 🦔

Update: The magnificent Merlyn II is doing well. Responded to treatment for fluke and capillaria and has nearly doubled his weight to 507g! Hopefully he'll be ready for release soon. #hedgehog #wildlife #treatment #Rescue #Rehabilitate #merlyn

360g Maisie came in from my vet yesterday in a very bad way. Riddled with roundworm & a chest full of lungworm. Out in the day is always reason for concern. She responded well to treatment last night & is eating well, despite now coughing up dead worms. 387g this morning 😁🦔

Precious Anni is responding well to her treatment. Her breathing has improved, her skin is looking much better & her sore tummy is no longer looking as angry as it was. Anni is just the sweetest patient, but I knew when she’d had enough of her ringworm treatment today 😊#hedgehog

I have a hedgehog coming regularly to my feeding station and there are numerous good hedgehog houses in the garden, but when I weighed him last night he is only 375 g. He looks fine but should I take him to a rescue in view of his weight? Many thanks for your advice Pauly.
