Benjamin Travasso The other week I visited UEA, they have a great campus, accommodation and feel to the uni (also SJA wise fab SVT, clinical & youth offering) If you can chat to people who aren’t tour guides, you often get a more honest and genuine response (I went on duty with some SJA students)

Can we finally quash the garbage of "Women typically present atypically?!" New ESC guidelines emphasize that we need to be focused on a wide range of symptoms, but especially chest discomfort, in *both* women and men. Carolyn Thomas ☮️ thoughts?
Thank you Carl Smith for inviting me down to assist on the Resuscitation Council UK ALS course for Paramedics Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS). Amazing faculty and a weekend packed full of laughter and expertise.
#RUCKID24 The 4-Stage approach is gone from Resuscitation Council UK courses. Instead an ‘Teach it’ ‘Facilitate it’ and ‘Assess it’ approach will be advocated. Skills will still be taught separately and integrated into sims Carl Smith Karan Botsford-Smith luke roberts-andreou
Interesting data from Resuscitation Council UK separating participant demographic and outcomes on an ALS course. Student outcomes are greater than nurses, paramedics, ODP’s and ACPs. Perhaps regular sim prepares them better? 🤔@UEA_Paramedic Karan Botsford-Smith Helen Carl Smith
