I just don’t understand the value of job creation over violent community displacement. Capitalism allows economic development to reign over livable communities for people of color. That’s white supremacy.

I stand w the Flushing community, and communities across our borough who are facing massive projects like Special Flushing Waterfront District - that seek to extract wealth and profit from us while displacing us at the same time. I say #NoFlushingRezoning and #NoRacistRezonings in NYC - PERIOD.
