There’s a really lovely festival in Tuamgraney this weekend. St Cronán’s Church will be the venue for harp ensemble workshop on Sunday at 11am followed by a free recital at 1pm. There are lots of events with a gala concert in St Joseph’s Church tomorrow night at 8pm.

The brilliant Tidy Towns volunteers have gone and opened a hotel right on our doorstep!! It’s just beautiful, what they have done with the overgrown shrub bed opposite the cathedral is the most amazing transformation. The new hotel crowns it! Supervalu TidyTowns Competition

A really interesting talk tomorrow night in the gorgeous Kilfenora Cathedral St Fachnan’s, yes there is a cathedral in Kilfenora, which was once a diocese all of its own up until the 1700s. This church is so perfect, it still has its box pews, lots of carvings #medievalireland
