Minister Darragh O'Brien was in Kerry this morning to announce Ireland's first Marine National Park. Páírc Náisiúnta na Mara will be dedicated to the protection and restoration of its internationally significant biodiversity and archaeological heritage. I'm so proud today to officially announce, with Minister Darragh O'Brien, Ireland's eighth and largest national park: Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara, Ciarraí. With the Conor Pass as its gateway, our first marine national park will see this iconic place protected for future generations.
