Pretty fair article from Energy Networks Australia about the new solar export tariff. I was not aware that the DNSP is now mandated to provide a reasonable solar export limit - anyone have any more info on this? energynetworks.com.au/news/energy-in…

This is going to go down as the DUMBEST period in Australia's history. The moment where Aussies handed BILLIONS of our collective wealth to USA owned corporations and PAID to clean up the mess. To be clear: these corporate BLUDGERS have captured our government #auspol

Renters and low-income communities would benefit the most from these bill savings and reduce cost-of-living pressures. Emissions would also be slashed by 85% by 2064 compared to business as usual - the equivalent of taking 313,000 cars off the road every year for 40 years.

In case you think from Richard Flanagan's nauseating book, Toxic: The Rotting Underbelly of the Tasmanian Salmon Industry, that this is only an Australian problem, here's the Canadian critique: #fishfarming #disease #ethics

Extraordinary that they’re throwing the book at whistleblower ⁦Richard D Boyle⁩ while the PwC partners who leaked tax office secrets to their clients escape unscathed. abc.net.au/news/2024-06-2…

A big beat-up today about needing gas for electricity in the future. Lets have a look at the amount of electricity from gas AEMO says we need in perspective. I've pointed to it in red because its so small you can hardly make it out.

I'm looking to speak to anyone who currently works on or has previously worked onboard a holiday cruise ship that makes port in Australia. For a story I'm working on CHOICE. Send me a DM or email [email protected]

Thing is Dick, you were wrong then and are even more wrong now. The Fed gov has commissioned multiple reports into energy, and both the Howard and Morrison reports concluded Wind + Solar is much cheaper.

Very disturbing pattern of Facebook removing clean energy posts on Australia’s leading renewal energy news outlet ⁦Renew Economy⁩ This is a must read piece. reneweconomy.com.au/we-published-a…

Outstanding analysis by Dr Gabrielle Kuiper once again. 100% agreee that ALL Hot Water Systems sold in Australia should be required to be able to be dynamically managed - cheapest battery around. ieefa.org/resources/aust…

Gavin Shoebridge One of our best investments. Cost 4yrs ago in Australia was $8.5k for 12.8kw system, it has already saved us $12.2k. Combined with an EV it’s just brilliant. Shout out to Solar Analytics for their monitoring and ROI tracking system, it’s been fantastic.

You seriously can't make this stuff up! 3 top Labor ministers responsible for making the RULES for mining companies literally went to WORK directly for them just weeks after leaving government. If you can't call this bare faced flat out corruption, what can you call it? #Auspol
