Yesterday we held our first online meeting as a committee and discussed lots of really important social security issues to work on throughout lockdown Can't wait to get to work putting everything we discussed into action!

We have received a letter from Cabinet Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville regarding a provision she plans to include in the Coronavirus (Scotland) Bill 2 to give carers, eligible for carers allowance supplement, an additional £230 in June. Read the letter here: ow.ly/fUi130qDUDA
