Shout out to ARCHIVED: Aaran McDonald MSYP FRSA for proposing such an important motion for people in island communities! 🏝 Young people have continuously campaigned for reduced ferry fares and it’s about time they were listened to! 🗣

Happy 22nd birthday to Scottish Youth Parliament! ✨ 22 years of amazing activisim, hundreds of human rights defenders, and lots of change that was done thanks to SYP! Leading this amazing organisation is an fantastic experience, and we love it each day!🎉 Here's to 22 more years!

It's our Birthday! 🎉🎆 It's been 22 incredible years of the Scottish Youth Parliament standing up for young people's rights. Thanks to everyone who have helped SYP get to where we are today and for the wonderful birthday wishes! 🥳🥳 #SYPTurns22

While on a recent break on the Isle of Mull I picked up these beautiful postcards. It wasnt until I got home that I realised that they were part of a Carers Trust fundraising effort. As a young carer who works with Carers Trust Scotland Im always proud to support their amazing work.

The fifth Motion passed at #SYP75 was proposed by ARCHIVED: Aaran McDonald MSYP FRSA and is on the subject of Island ferry fare reductions. 80% agreed with the Motion, so it passes.

Currently on a Staycation in Aberdeenshire and we have been visiting a number of Castles and Homes with our National Trust for Scotland membership. Did you know you can currently get an NTS membership for only £3 if your aged 16 - 24! Or get into NTS Places for £1 with Young Scot!

Tragically, there have been a number of drownings during the recent spell of hot weather. Despite the warm air, the water can be dangerously cold with strong currents. If you get in trouble in the water, #FloatToLive. Lean back, extend your arms and legs, and float.
