I'm excited to say I've been commissioned to write a play for Fio set in 1920s Tiger Bay. It isn't easy being a writer/creative freelancer in this climate but Dr Sita Thomas set an example of how it should be done. If you like a writer commission them don't string them along.

The reality of our industry is that we are all facing financial turmoil, but we can still be brave in our programming as we look to encourage new audiences and build on the relationship we have with existing audiences. To be progressive in this era is radical.
