Light Knot Grass (Acronicta menyanthidis) - North Antrim, May 2024. This is rare moth in Ireland, which I am lucky to have at a local site. Nice to find an early example this week. matter BC Northern Ireland Ulster Wildlife Butterfly Conservation 🦋

Happy ! 🐤
We're not only celebrating Curlew success, but we're also highlighting the incredible efforts of our staff, farmers, and volunteers. Together, we've ensured habitat management and farming practices to support Curlew in Fermanagh and the Antrim Plateau.

First Holly Blue of the season for me. Orange-tailed Mining Bee appears to be the most abundant thus far, but plenty of Ashy Mining Bee too.
