Bulb planting, fairy doors and lovely lighting at special events in the run up to Christmas thanks to past and present pupils from Grove Academy Look out for spring bulbs in the coming months.
Green Growers enjoying spring temperatures as new wood chip was added to the path. Snowdrops, crocuses amd primroses already out. In the UK flowering has begun 28 days earlier than previous records. #climatechange
Many thanks to a talented volunteer #duncanofjordanstone for giving our Green Growers fisherman a new face. Our artist had the skills and was happy to share them. Our old man looks much happier now. #randomactsofkindness

Green Growers this week in autumn sunshine clearing beds, sowing wildflower seed amd planting shallots and onions. All under the watchful eye of an interested robin!
Work has started Green Growers with a clear away of dead plant material for our compost heap and putting in some goldenrod to provide insects with a valuable food source in late summer
S1 Outdoor Learning group from Grove Academy were busy at Shiell St yesterday. They raked leaves, turned a large fallen branch into a wood pile, swept the railway bridge steps, planted out some winter veg & found worms on the way. John Muir Trust #community
Before and after! Fallen dead tree at Shiell St, down in last night’s storm. Dundee City Council had the tree cleared within hours and have left some logs and wood chip for our Outdoor Learning groups to use. Great job done today.
Outdoor Learning groups from Grove Academy have been busy Green Growers. The bog garden is taking shape, the wood chip pile is now used to upgrade the path and we are trying our hand at creating a dead hege for wildlife. #Community
