Gentle reminder that “polysubstance use/abuse” in a 1-liner doesn’t convey any useful medical info but transmits stigma. What we highlight in a 1-liner should orient the interlocutor for how they think abt the patient clinically. Name the relevant substances. I’ll explain why: 🧵
