Yesterday we were delighted to kickstart #TheNossBoat season.

The suburbs of #Seabird City, Noss National Nature Reserve, was very sheltered from the westerly wind. Allowing us to get up close and personal to the thousands of seabirds occupying the towering sandstone cliffs.

The long-staying Eurasian Bittern remains here at Hillwell, Shetland but is usually very difficult to find in the 'seggies' - especially when it freezes and 'skypoints' like this! ⬇️ A rare bird in these parts with just over 20 records.

#TheNossBoat launching day which began at 5am this morning as we need the low tides to put boat sitting on cradle down.
