Last year Nigel Jones and I had 8 days surveying insects in Upper Deeside between Muir of Dinnet NNR and Mar Lodge Estate. The report describing where we went and the circa 600 species we found can be found here: researchgate.net/publication/37…
Incubation is well underway at our Peregrine nest in Glasgow with the pair taking turns. Its noticeable that the smaller tiercel (male) does a wee bob as he gathers each of the eggs together for brooding – or is he counting them?🤔RSPB Scotland The SOC University of Glasgow

Egg-cellent news from Glasgow! Our Peregrines nesting University of Glasgow Gilmorehill Campus have laid their 3rd egg this morning! We glimpsed the 2nd egg around 1am on 21st March and she revealed her 3rd egg just after 5am on the 23rd. Will she lay a 4th? The SOC RSPB Scotland
