Subcontracting out controversial decisions to a ‘citizens assembly’ is weak and spineless….even by Starmer’s standards.

Good to pop into the Blackpool Salvation Army to chat about the brilliant work they do in supporting our community in different ways.

This includes their work supporting those who are homeless - their homeless hub is open from 9-11am on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday.

This raises serious questions. Are judges impartial?

🎭 Thanks to the TramShed Theatre Company for inviting me along to one of their sessions at Woodlands School Blackpool

They work with all parts of the community and many of our local schools. Was great to take part in one of their sessions.

🥘 The Comfort Cafe at St Thomas Church, Caunce Street, provides a hot meal & take away food every Tuesday from 11am -12:30pm.

It’s open to all who need it. Thanks to the brilliant volunteers who give their time up to provide this - it was good to pop along and meet them.

🥪 Out and about visiting local businesses in South Shore today, including my local bakery, the brilliant Bennett's Bakery

Well worth a visit if you haven’t been in before 👍

☕️ Open surgery this morning at the Cherry Tree Community Centre. Lots of local issues discussed including road safety on Cherry Tree Road.

🥘 St Peter’s Church on Lytham Road are supporting the vulnerable with a soup kichen every Tuesday night from 6-7pm.

A huge thank you to Tracy and her team of wonderful volunteers who give up their time. Anybody is struggling they are welcome to pop down for assistance.
