First Minister John Swinney welcomed Hiroshi Suzuki HE Hiroshi Suzuki to Bute House this evening. They were joined by members of Japanese companies that operate in Scotland. Both pledged to work together to strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Scotland and Japan.



First Minister John Swinney and Hiroshi Suzuki HE Hiroshi Suzuki visited The Official Page of Auchentoshan Whisky distillery in Clydebank to highlight the positive relationship between Scotland and Japan. Japan is a key destination for our whisky sector; with exports worth over ÂŁ182 million in 2024.
