They joined Justice Secretary Angela Constance to discuss how the new law can help challenge both ageism and racism.

A new Hate Crime Act has come into effect in Scotland.

The Act introduces new offences for threatening or abusive behaviour which is intended to stir up hatred against a group of people with a particular protected characteristic.
