1/ How can palliative care seriously be considered a better option than cannabis medicines? Yes, keep building the evidence, but children like Carly Ashton don’t have that long to wait. They need some form of compassionate access now, as they should have had 5 years ago.
Does this little girl not deserve a chance at life? The latest research shows there’s over a 96% chance medical cannabis would help her….. that’s a lot higher than any of the options we now have left available. Rishi Sunak SaveTheUnicorns NHS England Epilepsy Society
please Sajid Javid speak up for the children you set out to help when you changed the law in 2018. Esmé has a form of epilepsy known to respond to cannabis medication but instead she is being offered sedation and palliative care
Exhausted from multiple seizures, my child can’t even rest and recover. As soon as she nods off the tonic clusters start and wake her 💔 Rishi Sunak Steve Barclay BBC News (UK) Make advanced cannabis available for Esmé via the NHS NOW please 🙏 don’t leave her to suffer any longer
We are pleased that The Labour Party want to provide an NHS dentist for "all who need one" but, for many people, fees are still too high. People with epilepsy repeatedly fall and break teeth as a result of their seizures. We believe these repairs should be free #FixIt4Free Wes Streeting
