Very good points here. Ethical banks like the Co-Op Bank can and do refuse banking services to people and organisations whose beliefs or business lines don't fit with the bank's ethical policies. The furore over Farage's banking threatens these banks' business models.

I have for years chosen my banks on ethical grounds, including the Co-op bank for quite specifically denying banking to activities I do not like. Is it now being said that they must stop doing this? What sort of ethic requires unethical behaviour?
