Wonderful Refugee Week 🧡 fun at John Perryn yesterday. And they were so pleased to see Z, our lovely volunteer barber, offering free haircuts to young (mostly) and old. #refugeeswelcome
Patrick Dunleavy It can be wonderful. But only four trains an hour stop at my station and delays and cancellations - especially afternoon and early evening - are commonplace. Minimum SIX trains an hour through #ActonMainline and I might stop whinging.
We do everything the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan is looking for here. But we do it on quite a small scale and don’t meet (by £20k or so) the minimum turnover threshold. That seems a poor reason to exclude us when we deliver great value and great community integration.

Good to see Refugees at Home🧡 (we started about a decade ago) featured on BBC News (UK) Now 7,000 hosted for over 750,000 person nights. #LookForTheHelpersNotTheHaters bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
