Calling isolated capsular invasion in follicular thyroid tumors may be difficult, as the interpretation is subjective and can be hard to tell apart from FNA artefacts. However, angioinvasion is another story... or? Answer the poll and let me know what you think!

After years of informal use, I’m “officially” proposing a new pathology buzzword: NECRO-WORMS. This is where rolled up necrotic and granular debris in a cytology smear create serpentine, worm -like ropes. 🪱 Anyone have an alternative name for this finding?
