Remember dermal mucin can be seen in a variety of dermatitides besides lupus.
Eczematous dermatitis with its mild spongiosis, hyper ortho/parakeratosis, and with some (mild) amount of dermal mucin, blue-gray between collagen bundles and with the beautiful alcian blue.
