Israel brazenly resumed its devastating bombing campaign in Gaza killing at least 414 people in their sleep, including at least 100 children, and again wiping out entire families in a matter of hours. A desperately dark day for humanity. amnestyusa.org/press-releases…

Many Israelis believe Gaza deserves all of this, that no one there is truly innocent, that Gazans are to blame for their fate. But the privilege of looking away − and especially of refusing to show − can no longer be tolerated | Opinion | Gideon Levy haaretz.com/opinion/2025-0…

Int’l humanitarian law prohibits the destruction of property unless required by imperative military necessity. Israel had full control over the hospital, meaning Hamas wasn’t using it, so there was no such necessity—making the demolition an act of wanton destruction, a war crime

Mohammed El-Kurd It is unbearable. May the Palestinians forgive us - for not protecting them, not saving their children and their parents, for not doing enough to stop this horror.

Cruel. Inhumane. Unlawful. A war crime. A crime against humanity. An act of genocide. Extermination. International community must urgently late. The fate of the 2+ million Palestinian people in Gaza hang in the balance.

We are expected to be good Americans and look the other way as Israel prevents food, water, and medicine from reaching the remaining people of Gaza. Israel is literally starving them to death…We must speak out and demand a change in policy. We can’t be complicit in starving kids

Israeli forces have begun a full-scale invasion to ethnically cleanse all Palestinians from Gaza. War Criminal Netanyahu announced plans to forcibly expel the entire population and permanently occupy the land. This is the final stage of their genocide. World leaders must impose

We spent months arguing it is a genocide. They’ve now been telling us it is a genocide for months. The issue was never language but the fact that Western military powers believe Palestinian life is not worthy. Western civilization continues to be forged by atrocity.

If governments now dare whisper “sanctions”, it’s because pressure—from people devastated by 20 months of uncensored genocide—works. But much remains pretense: sanction with one hand, arm & trade with the other. People must not stop now. Keep pressing.

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It sounds inconceivable. But it’s the truth. Israel is taking deliberate, coordinated action to destroy the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Explicit statements by Israeli officials, combined with a consistent policy of destructive attacks

Netanyahu is a disgusting liar.  Children are starving to death.  The United States cannot continue to supply his racist government with hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid that is used to kill innocent people.

Mohammed El-Kurd (@m7mdkurd) 's Twitter Profile Photo

You know, the killing is so relentless that you almost get used to it. A classroom of children killed every single day. You write about it, you read about it. Someone’s mother digs herself up from the rubble. Someone’s father is split in half. There was a video of wounded man

I have no words anymore. States. Must. Intervene. This isn’t genius, it’s leadership. 1. Impose an arms embargo and cut trade. 2. Break the blockade with your humanitarian navies. 3. Send a protective presence to Palestine to ensure Israel dismantles its occupation NOW.

Every major human rights organization has said Israel is committing genocide in Gaza but rather than focus on exhausted Palestinians enduring displacement, bombardment, starvation, disease and grief, the The New York Times chose to focus on the soldiers carrying out the genocide.

What’s refreshing about Javier Bardem/Hannah Einbinder’s statements is that they weren’t vague or preemptively defensive, nor did they reduce the genocide to a faceless ‘humanitarian crisis’. They denounced the culprit unequivocally and named what justice demanded: sanctions.

I'm rarely impressed with celebrity displays of solidarity, not due to suspicions of opportunism or whatnot,* but because, so often, they're painfully timid and hesitant, concealing their political stances with euphemisms, or softening them with disclaimers and bothsidesism, or
