Am I the only one who spotted this in the #birthtraumainquiry report?
The president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists saying the quiet part out loud?

The Resentful Nurse! Bethany Kyle I think we are in agreement. The use of the term staffing nearly always relates to acuity levels. Which really diminishes those whose care was just negligent and neglect. They feel sidelined because it doesn’t fit the excuse: we didn’t have enough people.
Harriet should be 8. 8 years of hell. Made to feel like we were an isolated +tragic case - just like so many others. It still breaks my heart to read our experiences. In no other walk of life would babies/ mothers being harmed/ killed be accepted. #birthtraumainquiry #Nottingham
#InternationalBereavedMothersDay a day I wish I never had to endure. My beautiful daughter should be 8.
We’ve no pretty pictures of her first steps, her first words or in years to come but I’m still so proud of her in the few we have.

Jack Hawkins, whose daughter Harriet would have been 8 on April 17, says he's delighted he's shown real understanding.

We've heard from countless women who have had horrific experiences of maternity care and we agree with Maternity Safety Alliance, mentioned in Sirin Kale's important article, that maternity services are broken. That's why we're backing their call for an urgent public inquiry.
'Any woman, in any hospital, having any baby, could be at risk', says Sirin Kale on maternity services. She is right.

8 yrs ago today I started mat leave. 2 1/2 weeks to my due date with a full term healthy baby.
Little did I know the negligent care I’d receive over a 6 day labour would lead to her death. I left the hospital with an empty car seat, empty arms and a broken heart #safermaternity
This response from Rishi Sunak today shows he doesn't understand the breadth and scale of the crisis in maternity services across the country. So let's make it clear: maternity care is failing. Mums and babies are dying because of substandard care. We need a #MaternityInquiry
Ongoing investigation, potentially 1800+ preventable bereaved/ harmed. Police investigation opened.
Kiss your kids goodnight and think of all those in Nottingham who have to kiss their kids gravestones.
