🚨Nottingham's Planning Committee has approved plans for a new bridge over the River Trent.

It'll be the first new crossing built over the river in over 60 years.

Note: It's still subject to approval from Rushcliffe's Planning Committee in coming months.

NEW: Nottingham's commissioners tell me they're planning to meet traders at Victoria Centre Market ahead of its planned closure in the summer/autumn.

Traders continue to argue it could be successful with good management.

Basically, her day rate of £1,100 is the amount Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (where she's chief exec) will be invoicing Nottingham City Council for her time here.

Will ask Rotherham if she'll be paid on top of her salary.
