One of our Police Officers was assaulted today, whilst making an arrest in the City. The officer is currently in hospital while the male was arrested and is now in custody. We are so proud of our PC’s and the work they do to keep us all safe #ProtectTheProtectors #thinkingofyou

The SIT spent the day working alongside housing officers & paramedics to try to help. Unfortunately we can only give help to those who want to accept it and this lady doesn’t. Our services are there for all vulnerable people and we will never stop trying to help those in need.

We are so proud of the work that Nicci has done on this project but equally we are incredibly proud of the work your foundation has done, and continues to do to eradicate knife crime. 🧡

Excellent work from one of our PCs who recovered these weapons following a report of two homeless males on the landing of the Broad Walk flats. Can we urge residents to not let people into residential communal areas as the consequences could be fatal! #CommunitySafety #Birmingham

Joint patrol with Retail BID today. Partnership working through the city centre with key partners is vital to combatting ASB in the City Centre. #Safety #Community #Birmingham

Amazing to see a previously entrenched rough sleeper who our team worked closely with now seven months clean from all substances reading poetry in New Street station earlier this week! #Proud #Birmingham #CommunitySafety

One of our enforcement officers recovered this bladed article from the soil in Priory Square today. Could have been very nasty had this weapon been used against a member of the public. Great work keeping the City Centre safe. #Birmingham

Thanks to the diligence of our Security Project Manager - Birmingham Colmore officers these offensive weapons have been safely confiscated. Fortunately, this sort of thing is pretty rare in the District. It's kept that way by our officers tackling crime together with West Midlands Police SIPOG and others.
