Busy NTE weekend with my regular targeted team. Friday - multiple arrests for theft from person & providing HVP around the city. Saturday - first on scene for a S18 where the IP sustained a laceration to the neck & multiple jobs attended around the city🚔

Proactive night with S/Con 2457. Multiple jobs attended, stop searches, gathered intel & then came across a large kitchen knife when searching in a known hotspot. Now for the paperwork📑🚔

Today our development officer Ben & I have been training our specials on the use of the mobile speed gun to continue their professional development whilst in the specials. This training helps Merseyside Specials educate motorists & respond to community concerns #saferroads

After years of wanting to become a police officer & two years of being a Special Constable, I’m pleased to say I will be starting full time in two weeks💙 Being a special with Merseyside Specials has been the best thing I’ve ever done & I’m really going to miss it!

The cycle course was really fun yesterday although it was very muddy🚔💙

Over the weekend 12 Special Constables attended their cycle course so they can deploy on two wheels as well as four with more planned. Thanks to Sgt Pope for arranging another course to help our Special Constables police our communities and develop in their role
