I will continue to say this until I'm Sycamore blue in the face. In my lifetime, NOBODY has done more damage to college basketball than Jay Bilas has with his privileged takes and narratives that NEVER look beyond his blue blood colored glasses.

"The way the system was structured before, players tended to cluster at the P5 level, and now talent is spread out more than ever." Of course, the Grim Reaper of College Sports (@jaybilas) knows better, and is lying. It's the *complete* opposite. Where's your data on this, Jay?

Correct. Even the endless cherry-picked examples people like Jay Bilas and Seth Davis use to defend their positions are ludicrous. Would the '15 and '16 Wichita State teams have stayed together and made NCAA runs in today’s chaotic, lawless pay-for-play era?

SBUnfurled Jay Bilas He's an egotistical clown that refuses to look anywhere outside of the SEC, Big Ten, or Tobacco Road. Can't get his head out of his ass, keeping him blind from the reality that college athletics has already been destroyed

My best guess at the current depth chart. SBU has guys coming in from all different levels: D1, JUCO, Russia, Italy, Canada. And there will be more. It's a lot to put together. It'll be interesting to see who steps up in a captain role, and if they can synergize by November.

Very fair projection here. What a fun starting lineup for Bonnies Men's Basketball. Mitchell is the steady beast down-low and he's surrounded by four versatile and skilled players who can shoot and pass.

I have Marshall starting because seniors with three years of proven D1 experience/production historically have a clear edge over freshmen, based on Schmidt's tendencies: "the older the better." If Lonati is already good enough to start over Marshall, that's great for the team.

SBUnfurled, Haslam, and I should start “The MSU Podcast” highlighting the comings and goings of the players perpetually on the move. x.com/sbunfurled/sta…

Ilya Ermakov was named to the VTB Youth League All-Tournament Team after standout performances for CSKA Junior. The incoming freshman had 21 points and 6 assists in yesterday's 93–89 semifinal win, then 15 points and 6 rebounds in today's narrow 77–75 Finals loss.

Achille Lonati scored 10 points as Olimpia Milano just claimed the Italian U19 title for the second straight year in Rome. The win capped a perfect run and locked up back-to-back youth slams for the incoming Bona freshman.

Daniel Egbuniwe has committed to St. Bonaventure. The 6-7 Stretch 4 played the last two seasons at Tennessee Tech, averaging 10 points and 6.5 rebounds in 30 games last season.

I think the ACC (and a handful of other leagues that are fighting for bid scraps) would benefit most from some sort of dynamic scheduling in-season... whether with 18 or 20 league games. Make sure your competitive teams are getting real opportunities late in the year.

If people can't keep track of the comical level of player movement, and need a "Roster Reshuffle Series" headquarters, maybe it isn't good for the sport after all?

If postseason access is essentially turned over to the P4 it will not end well for non P4's. AQ's can be termed inclusive, but non P4 MBB faces a steep climb re at-large access to critically important and competitively equitable non conference scheduling. It's P4 sleight of hand.

Updated depth chart prediction after Daniel Egbuniwe’s commitment: the senior brings 73 games of OVC experience and will hopefully complement Grahovac with defense/rebounding at the 4. So many new guys from very different backgrounds makes it hard to predict how they might gel.
