We inspected the effectiveness of integrity arrangements in Hampshire Police and found that the constabulary is performing well in some areas. But it should improve how it assesses and develops counter-corruption intelligence, and its understanding of vetting levels for all posts.

We have published our inspection of Greater Manchester Police and its safeguarding partners’ approach to investigating allegations of child criminal and sexual exploitation. We found that the force has improved how it investigates child sexual exploitation but must address gaps in training.

Today HM Chief Inspector of Fire and Rescue Services, Sir Andy Cooke, has decided to remove Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service from our enhanced level of monitoring, known as Engage, due to improvements.
