Our Youth Exchange student Lisa placed 3rd in a 5k run in support of youth mental health this morning. She and fellow RYE student Britt were among the participants Miles for Mental Health 5k &10k walks and runs organized by Lisa's classmates at Charlottetown Rural High.

Today is a day we look forward to the whole year. The day we present our STRIVE Scholarships to 10 students from Colonel Gray High School. 40 students participated in STRIVE this year. We also give them the opportunity to participate in a job fair.

The West Royalty Community Centre has a new pollinator garden thanks to a generous donation from the Rotary Club of Charlottetown This weekend, city staff and Rotary members got busy planting over 120 plants that will offer a wide range of food sources for pollinators.

Congratulations to the amazing Llew Robinson on receiving the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation for his service to RCMP Veterans. Llew has been a volunteer with Rotary Youth Parliament for over 35 years and we cherish his wisdom and knowledge.

A number of our members have been attending the @rotary Convention in Calgary this week. Past President Najam appears to be channeling his inner cowboy on his way to the closing ceremonies.
