Proud to attend the formal opening of our newest set of theatres and EPOC unit at City Campus Nottingham University Hospitals NUHTheatres NUH Surgery and Associated Services with Nottinghamshire’s own Robin Hood. 500 operations already undertaken, 125 via robot, all helping reduce our waits for elective surgery.

The new theatres and the elective post-operative care unit are already playing a key part in bringing down the waiting lists for elective surgery.

Today I was honoured cut the ribbon and officially declare Nottingham City Hospital's new 'Robin Hood Suite' open. I got to see their state-of-the-art robotic surgery equipment and tour their amazing new facilities too - real-life heroes looking after those in need; many thanks!

Yesterday we officially opened our brand new Robin Hood theatres at City Hospital. Who better to cut the ribbon than the man himself?🏹🌳 The three brand-new theatres, which include a surgical robot, host multiple specialities including colorectal and ear, nose and throat.
