Last night, we gathered to remember Miguel Ortiz, a Miami Beach resident killed near the Venetian Causeway while riding his bike. Today, our work begins. This should never happen to another family in our City.

Nearly a year into #VisionZero, the program's main proponents Commissioner Eileen Higgins and Daniella Levine Cava have made little progress on building safer road infrastructure. Yesterday, two cyclists died because of this lack of infrastructure. We need action, not #ZeroVision.
