Although I’ll use it primarily for video, I put the Nikon Z 6 on my 400mm last weekend on Skomer Island, and pointed it towards this puffin. #Z6

Just out in Finland at the moment for a #NaturesImages Bear trip. Spending time with these very cute things, that dwell in the forests there, is very enjoyable! I do like a nice big mammal to point my D850 at!

Hey Twitter! Back after a break with this hyena at sunrise. Also check out the back-of-the-camera shot, to see how close it compares to the actual capture (getting it right in camera is so important). Delighted to say it was also awarded in MontPhoto 2019.

And for two tweets in a day, I’m pleased to say this image taken in Finland was also selected for MontPhoto 2019. A static subject, slow shutter and fast flowing river, combined with a high vantage point, worked a treat!

My favourite big cat has to be the leopard. The only thing that can top it, is a baby leopard! This one casually posed for us back in August. #MigrationPhotoSafari

Just had the most fun weekend in Perth. I was kindly invited as keynote speaker for West Australian Photographic Federations, PhotoWest 2019 conference. Incredibly welcoming bunch! So many laughs and such lovely people. Amazing! 21 hour journey home now though 🦘

Well that was a fun weekend spent at the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards! It was a pleasure to be on the jury this year, catch up with friends, make new and see plenty of inspiring images. Now U.K. bound for a few days!
