The counts are in! We're very pleased to announce that this year's Puffin number on Skomer Island is 41,605.

We're very pleased that the island remains a stronghold for this seabird species.

The results are in! With 41,605 puffins recorded on Skomer in 2024, the winner of our Puffin Count Competition is Holly Blake with a guess of 41,595.
