Many thanks to Madeleine for reporting on my and Rep. Jennifer O'Mara's project with Delco's VFWs and American Legions to make them even safer places for our dear veterans. I'm so proud to be part of this amazing group effort, and am holding Brian's friends and family in my heart. ❤️🩹
Our Solar for Schools bill signing ceremony was yesterday. Over a year ago, we introduced the bill standing behind a solar panel. None of us knew if we’d be back again to celebrate. But thanks to the hard work of countless partners & Governor Josh Shapiro’s signature, we did it. 🌞
Before our bill signing ceremony on Monday, I had the honor of celebrating Solar for Schools with Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Senator Carolyn Comitta, Rep. Jennifer O'Mara, Rep. Lisa Borowski, Rep. Leanne Krueger, & Rep. Heather Boyd in Media. We couldn't have passed this bill without the support of the Southeast delegation! 🌞
Always great to see Rep. Jennifer O'Mara out and about in Upper Prov! She’s so supportive of our community.
Congratulations to Springfield SD on this fantastic accomplishment! The whole community is filled with pride! 💙💛💙💛
Today, the committee held a voting meeting and favorably reported two bills! Rep. Jennifer O'Mara's legislation to guarantee earned paid leave for all PA workers (HB 2548), and Rep. Jim Haddock's legislation to modernize the ASL Interpreter Act (HB 2566)!
I voted yes on SB365, which is the companion bill to Rep. Jennifer O'Mara bill, which allows first responders to receive workers comp for PTSI without having to prove that the injury was sustained under ‘abnormal’ working conditions.
🚨 PTSI Bill Passed!🚨 Thanks to the support of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress injury can now access the benefits they deserve. Special thanks to Senator Camera Bartolotta and Rep. Jennifer O'Mara for their dedication to protecting those who
Very proud SB365 is heading to the Gov's desk! 🖊️ This allows first responders to access workers’ comp for PTSI. Not possible without Rep. Jennifer O'Mara's tireless efforts. Thank you! 👇🏻 senatorbartolotta.com/2024/10/23/bar…
This week the #PAHouse approved legislation to make sure our first responders can access workers compensation benefits related to Post-Traumatic Stress Injury. This is now headed to Governor Josh Shapiro's desk to become law!
The #PAHouse this week approved legislation that would make first responders with post-traumatic stress injuries eligible for workers compensation and approved a bill that would establish a statewide rape kit tracking system. Rep. Jennifer O'Mara tribdem.com/news/pa-lawmak…
When the bill passed, we welcomed Pittsburgh Fire Fighters and fire fighters from across the state to the House floor to honor their service to our communities. Great work by Rep. Jennifer O'Mara to get this done!
