A trip on the bike last week to Holland & Belgium gave me the opportunity to visit the crash site & cemetery of Wg Cdr Gibson & Sqn Ldr Warwick. A small cross of remembrance was left on the graves. #wewillrememberthem

Armed Forces week flag raising ceremony in Oakham today so the RBL & RAFA Standard Bearers took the opportunity to pay our respects to the late Queen.

The flag is flying ready for our Armed Forces Day breakfast. Saturday we celebrate our richly populated Armed Forces community here in Rutland and beyond. A few of the many Military support networks will be attending to raise awareness. Please show your support Grainstore Brewery

SAT 14th Sept - Wings Appeal - Oakham High Street.... Volunteers requested. The RAFA Rutland Gazebo will be carrying out Wings Appeal operations on the High St in Oakham between 09-00 & 15-00 hrs. A full crew of volunteers would be greatly appreciated by the Chairman.
