Glad to support Police Service NI in launching this new protocol. RNIB’s Olive Rodgers said: ”It’s important that not only people with sight loss feel confident when speaking with PSNI personnel but that officers understand how to best engage with people with sight loss.'
We endorse this open letter to the Minister of Health Robin Swann and call on Department of Health to urgently #RestoreCore funding for the Community and Voluntary sector. Such funding is vital to deliver support and advocacy for those with sight loss and our most vulnerable in NI.
