No matter how tempted you may be,or it's OK, my vehicle is a 4x4. It says its Road Closed for a reason. We are expecting some bad weather over the next few day's. Please don't attempt to drive through flood water. It's more dangerous than some people think. 🚒

Another top tip. This one while driving in adverse weather conditions (Rain). Whether it be on the Motorway or the Main road. Please Drive with your lights on .In the picture below. The vehicle is very hard to spot, but other vehicles do have their lights on #DriveToSurvive

#Thirsk & #Ripon crews have rescued a pony called Tilly after she became trapped with her legs across a bar in a horsebox. Crews unbolted the bar from the outside & gently lowered her down. Tilly sustained slight bruising and a small cut to her eye.

#Ripon Crew carrying out familiarisation as part of our ongoing station training.Knowing the layout of the premise and other vital information internally/external is part of our role as Firefighters.The view from the roof of Ripon Cathedral is also fantastic on a day like today.
