In Laughable, Stacie Burrows plays the keyboard and sings a comedy song. So far, so generic, but her singing voice has an unusual edge and the humour goes to a comparatively dark place. I hope this one stands out, it looks like it deserves to.

Showcases are difficult things to run well, but Greenside Venues nailed that one. Engaging excerpts, flawless tech, ran more or less to time. Brilliantly captured the breath and ambition of their programme. Also great sandwiches.
