Ruby had craved Wagamama’s’ katsu curry all through her treatment. But all restaurants were closed.

A friend contacted wagamama uk & two days before Ruby died, their head chef cooked Ruby’s favourite meal & delivered it in person to our home.

It tasted so good!

Ruby had always wanted to go to Hawaii. So we did our best to recreate Hawaii in our London garden. A friend sent us blow-up palm trees & flamingoes

We borrowed a neighbour’s hot tub & sipped cocktails & ate fancy ice cream

Unlike 2024, the spring weather was amazing ☀️

Trying crushed oyster shell in place of horticultural grit. Seems more sustainable to use a biological farmed byproduct than a limited geological resource.

Carrot seeds safely tucked up for the duration. Added 2 sacks of 2 year old leaf mould to the soil to open it up. Had terrible germination last year. Fingers crossed for this time.
