Well that’s pretty much a wrap. Flying to Stansted tomorrow morning to collect Douglas the cavapoo then heading back Derbyshire. Grateful to friends who looked after my bonsai and seedlings! It’s also the end of my sabbatical and recalibration for the future. #parkinsons

Last week highlighted that people with #Parkinsons can present with and have a prominent depressive and apathetic non-motor subtype.
It must be incredibly difficult to deal with even with the right support around you. This group in my opinion need greater input at diagnosis.

I’ve found the response to disability in Rome to be remarkably matter of fact and kind. Eg Queue at the Pantheon? Show access card and explanation of #parkinsons an idea of Sean Stillman translated into Italian & no questions asked. Straight in. Every time actually.
