While people struggle with the cost of living crisis, and physical attacks against our staff are at an all time high, the Conservatives are putting these up at LU stations, making it look like it’s TFL posters and putting our staff at more riak from assault RMT RMT London Calling ✊ 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙈𝙏 ✊

Just half of the increase in the wealth of the richest 50 families each year is roughly enough money to give all public sector workers a standard of living preserving pay rise of 10.5% 6/7

If we continue at the current rates, the wealth of the richest 200 people will be larger than whole UK economy (GDP) by 2035. 5/7

Important thread. Every government for the last 40 years has focused on giving corporations, employers more power over workers. The result is stagnant or falling living standards for us. And a huge increase in wealth for the super rich.

Remember this when they tell you 'we can't afford it', 'there's no money'. We could simply tax these 50 families and give the entire public sector a 10% pay rise.

Closed due to cuts to the number of station staff that work on London Underground. Unfortunately we need to strike to stop these closures becoming more and more regular.

This article is full of straight up lies from TfL 'spokesperson' There is no RMT overtime ban in place currently. The station doesn't have enough staff because TFL reduced the roster size as part of their plan to get rid of 600 station staff. So to blame staff sickness is low

Passenger numbers for April were on average over 98% of pre covid levels. Whilst many TOCs still run reduced timetables and struggle to provide a basic service. The only people damaging our industry are privateers and this government.

My employer SOAS University of London has snatched £1.5k from my gross pay as 'strike' deductions for April. Reader, we *did not take a single day's strike action in April*. We boycotted marking as ASOS. I did all work except some moderation near the end of the month. This is wage theft #ShameOnSoas

It's not temporary, you have removed positions from the roster, it's a permanent reduction in staff.
