In the 2022 floods, millions lost access to safe water & toilets. UK in Pakistan 🇬🇧🇵🇰's Lance Domm recently visited the UNICEF warehouse in Khi to see prepositioned supplies. With UK support, UNICEF & IOM Pakistan are helping families become climate resilient in the face of disaster

As a strong proponent of #breastfeeding, I am delighted to be part of the strong momentum under inspiring leadership making it easier for every mother to breastfeed their child and give them the healthiest start in life as my first official representation in Pakistan.

I am struck by the sheer force of the torrential waters that are pounding communities with huge boulders, causing massive destruction and upending lives. May children and families be spared from further devastation..

.UNICEF & @healthkpgovt are delivering life-saving nutrition services in flood-hit Swat, with support from @Swedeninpk. Nutrition sites deliver #RUTF treatment, supplements, counseling & hygiene awareness, while LHW raise awareness door-to-door to protect children’s health.

It was a delight to welcome our energetic Youth Advocate Taqwa Ahmad and her family to UNICEF. Her passion for inclusion and child rights is truly inspiring. We discussed how young voices can drive change so every child in Pakistan has the chance to learn, grow & succeed.
