Happy that UNICEF Nigeria is able to play a supportive role in this important initiative!
Honoured to present my credentials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Pakistan today & begin my journey as UNICEF Representative in Pakistan. I first came during the 2010 floods & was deeply moved by the people's warmth & resilience. Proud to return to lead UNICEF’s mission for every child.
In the 2022 floods, millions lost access to safe water & toilets. UK in Pakistan 🇬🇧🇵🇰's Lance Domm recently visited the UNICEF warehouse in Khi to see prepositioned supplies. With UK support, UNICEF & IOM Pakistan are helping families become climate resilient in the face of disaster
It was a delight to welcome our energetic Youth Advocate Taqwa Ahmad and her family to UNICEF. Her passion for inclusion and child rights is truly inspiring. We discussed how young voices can drive change so every child in Pakistan has the chance to learn, grow & succeed.
