TPD Obi vs Wheelbarrow: a NEW and unfamiliar object in a familiar environment. He is uncertain at first, but on his own (with a little help from Goose who is still on lead walks recovering), he deals confidently with the challenge and takes on the wheelbarrow, literally! 😂

This week TPD Oakley became PD Oakley after completing his 10 weeks specialist course down in Devon & Cornwall Police, congratulations to both him and his handler.

Oakley’s previous owner recognised that he needed more than the family home and reached out to us to see if we could assist 🐾

PDs Wilma and Harrison have been busy over the last couple of days putting their noses to work and assisting officers in locating evidence relating to offences under investigation 🐾

TPD's Obi, Harry, and Ron all met up today and were hosted by the wonderful Kingston Maurward, where they got to meet an array of animals including goats, ponies, pigs, rabbits, and geese in some environmental training. Handlers also got to meet Merlin,the stunning 🦉 #policedogtraining

This set PD Goose assisted in #poole after a male was caught by officers after making off from them. She located a quantity of drugs hidden by the male. In #bournemouth , she located and helped detained a male who tried to steal a motorbike and ran from police. #thenoseknows #PD

Last night, PD Goose assisted #Weymouth colleagues at a domestic. Goose made sure she was heard and that nobody decided to run. Drink driver also arrested during the shift. Whilst I did the paperwork, Goose was trying to nap, but TPD Obi had other plans #puppylove #gsd #lab #PDs

At the weekend, TPD Obi had his first trip to the beach. We went alone as it's important he isn't reliant on the rest of my pack. He met lots of dogs and learnt valuable social skills. We then spent time ignoring all dogs and people to practise recall. He was brilliant #training
