We visited the Brunei Darussalam Maritime Museum whilst alongside in Brunei. The museum showcases an important wreck found off Brunei's coastline that revealed late 15th and early 16C trade with China, Vietnam and Thailand. 🇬🇧⚓️🇧🇳 #GlobalBritain #Brunei #Brunei

Great evening yesterday celebrating the start of advent at the annual Admiralty Carol Service. Wonderful Service by St Martin-in-the-Fields and really grateful for the support from Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and Bernard Edwards. Good to meet some of the 1SL cadets and HMS Oardacious Valkyries too, amongst many others!

Type 26 frigate #HMSGlasgow will enter the water for the first time today as she continues the next phase of her build. She will be secured on to a barge which will then be lowered slowly into the water. Currently weighing 6,000 tonnes, Glasgow will be towed to Scotstoun.

The Ship received a warm welcome when she visited the Uruguayan Artigas Base at King George Island to deliver stores. Some great teamwork with our hosts swiftly completed the transfer and left enough time to sample some excellent homemade Uruguayan cake! Instituto Antártico Uruguayo Embajada Británica

I am proud to RT the First Sea Lord’s message directly addressing the subject of sexual misconduct in the Royal Navy. It is deeply harmful content in the news but leaders at all levels run towards challenge and conflict, not away.

We are the first RN ship to participate in Ex Keen Sword, one of the Pacific’s largest military exercises involving 36,000 military personnel, 30 ships & 370 aircraft from Japan & the USA, with Australia & Canada also joining in the 10 day exercise. 🇬🇧⚓️🇯🇵🇺🇸⚔️🇦🇺🇨🇦 #GlobalBritain
