We heard the concerns of the Somali Media outlets and it will not go unaddressed. As the Information Committee of the Parliament we will call on the Ministry of Information for further explanations and to rectify the illegal council.

Today, I had the opportunity to meet the directors and department staff of the Ministry. In my meetings, I met with the CDF and DCDF where they gave me a briefing on the current operations and the hard work our SNA soldiers are doing.

Today, I participated in the Hirshabelle Stabilization Conference chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia alongside the President of Hirshabelle State, other Federal and State representatives as well as international partners.

At the Ministry of Defense today, I received the East African Community Defense Delegation for updates on the work and progress of our counterparts in the region, and plans to enhance cooperation in the defense and security of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
